Mission Statement: To Promote live blues and blues related music at Lake of the Ozarks |
| Who are we? |
| Lake
of the Ozarks Blues Society was incorporated in July 1996, as a
non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation with a Board of Directors elected from
and by the membership on an annual basis.
Membership is made up of dedicated blues lovers from all walks of life, at the Lake of the Ozarks, from other parts of the state, and from surrounding states. Our goal is to raise awareness and appreciation of LIVE blues music at Lake of the Ozarks. To promote that goal, we hold monthly open jams at which any musician, member or not, may sit in. The jams are held on the second Tuesday of each month at business member clubs on a rotating basis. These jams offer musicians and fans the opportunity to meet and network with other musicians and blues lovers. Membership
