International Blues Challenge 2007

Congratulations to our winners!

Johnny G and the Allstars

On October 28, 2007, Johnny G and the Allstars edged out close competition and were deemed  by the panel of judges to be the best of the entries.  Johnny G and the Allstars will represent LOTOBS in Memphis at the International Blues Challenge January 31 - February 2, 2008. 
LOTOBS awarded a $1500 cash prize to the winning band.

International Blues Challenge 2006

Congratulations to our Winners!

The Doghouse Daddies!
In stiff competition at the Filling Station on August 20, 2006, the Doghouse Daddies were judged by our outside judges to be the best of the entries.  Doghouse Daddies will represent LOTOBS in Memphis at the International Blues Challenge in February, 2007.  They also won a $500 cash prize from LOTOBS, and compliments of KRMS Radio, they will "Beat the Winter Blues" with a trip to Cancun, Mexico in January.

International Blues Challenge 2005

And the Winner Is!

The Baub Eis Band

BaubEis, DennisTernamian, Dave Raithel & John Marsi will represent 
LOTOBS at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tn. January 26 - 28, 2006. 
 
Winner of that event will receive the $25,000 Grand Prize and a recording contract.
The Blues Challenge also bestows the Albert King award to best guitarist.

Local competition took place at Vic's Bar & Grill on November 8 
and the winning band was chosen by vote of Blues Society members in attendance.

This is the second year in a row that the Baub Eis Band has been the LOTOBS representative at the International Blues Challenge.
